Contact
Questions, bug reports and requests all go to the same inbox, and a person reads every one.
01Email us
Every message goes to one address: service@fastchart.org. There is no contact form and no ticket system — you email a person, and a person replies. We aim to answer within a few business days.
We never ask for the data behind your charts in order to help you. If a bug report needs a sample, send a small anonymised extract — a handful of rows is almost always enough to reproduce a parsing problem.
02Before you write
A few questions come up often enough that the answer is already on the site:
- Is my data uploaded anywhere? No. Charts are parsed and drawn entirely in your browser, and nothing is sent to us.
- Can I use these charts commercially? Yes, with no attribution and no watermark. See the Terms of Service.
- Can you recover a chart I lost? No. Since we never receive your data, there is nothing on our side to restore.
- Which chart type should I use? The guides cover the common comparisons, such as histogram versus bar chart.
What to write about
Each option opens your mail client with the subject line filled in, which helps us route your message faster.
- A bug or a parsing problemThe parser read your data wrongly, an export came out broken, or a chart renders incorrectly in your browser. Include a small sample of the data and tell us which browser you used.service@fastchart.org
- A feature or chart type requestA chart type we do not support yet, an input format we should detect, or an export option you need. Requests that describe the data you are trying to chart are the most useful.service@fastchart.org
- Privacy, licensing or legalQuestions about how your data is handled, whether you may use a chart commercially, or anything in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.service@fastchart.org
- Advertising and everything elseQuestions about the ads on this site, press enquiries, or anything that does not fit the categories above.service@fastchart.org
