Network Graph Maker questions
- What does node size mean?
- Node size is scaled by total connection weight, so the most connected entities read as the largest. Edge thickness reflects the weight of that individual connection.
- Why is the layout circular?
- A deterministic circular layout renders identically every time and exports cleanly, unlike a force simulation that settles differently on each load. Edges bow toward the centre so parallel links stay distinguishable.
- Do I need a weight column?
- No. With just source and target columns every edge is treated as weight 1 and the graph renders unweighted.
